BERNIE SANDERS GOT 4,493 WRITE IN VOTES IN NEW HAMPSIRE, ATI 18,000 WRITE IN VOTES IN VERMONT,HIS HOME STATE!--FROM BOSTON.COM

Bernie Sanders got 4,493 write-in votes in New Hampshire

He got even more in Vermont.

One can only imagine if Bernie Sanders managed to spoil a decisive election in New Hampshire for Hillary Clinton.
The Vermont senator—who was actively campaigning for Clinton and not on the ballot last Tuesday—received 4,493 votes in New Hampshire, according to the state’s official tally of write-in votes.
Alas, Clinton did beat now-President-elect Donald Trump in the Granite State, though by an even narrower margin: 2,573 votes. The Associated Press called the race on Monday, though it made no difference in the ultimate outcome of the election.
Sanders, who won New Hampshire’s Democratic primary last February decisively, was the leading write-in vote-getter in the state’s general election. Republican Ohio Gov. John Kasich, another presidential also-ran, was second with 1,365 votes.

Perhaps more strikingly, Sanders received more than 18,000 write-in votes in his home state of Vermont, according to the state’s election results. In other words: 5.67 percent of the total ballots cast.
The figure was also more than the combined total ballots cast for Libertarian Party nominee Gary Johnson (10,078) and Green Party nominee Jill Stein (6,758), both of whom were actually on the ballot.
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady got nine votes in Vermont. Patriots coach Bill Belichick got seven.

FOREST WHITAKER FINDS HIS ROOTS IN IMO STATE NIGERIA.

April 6 was a really beautiful day. The people of Nkwerre village in Imo State, Eastern Nigeria might have thought they were just luckky to have a day as nice as this but the reason that day was all shiny and new was because a lost son had returned.
Forest Steven Whitaker,an Academy Award-, Golden Globe-, and Emmy-winning actor, producer, and director returned home to Nigeria.
I was the only journalist that got luckky to be right there as he was welcomed with fellow star, Danny Glover. Right there before my eyes, they were given prestigious chieftancy titles reserved for nobel and well respected men.
Whitaker, sorry chief Whitaker was given the title-"Nwannedinambe Of Nkwerre" meaning "A Brother in Foreign Land" while Chief Glover received the title- "Enyioma of Nkwerre," this means "A Good Friend."
It took me a while to believe I was actually there with world stars in a small village in Nigeria. I have not fully recovered.
I was really proud to be who I am when Chief Whitaker thanked the King for allowing him to breathe the air and feel the wind in a different way. To feel his blood differently. I was moved to tears and filled with mixed emotions when he said "Now I know where I stand, it is the greatest gift anyone can receive."
Chief GLover was also honoured and said this was home for him. We all moved on to the Ayiam-Osigwe family house to celebrate. I took in slowly, the priviledge of seeing them dance to the beats of Africa and savouring every mouth full of Jollof-rice, semovita and egusi soup, our native dish.
For me, a 24 year old Newswatch magazine senior staff writer in Lagos, I would never forget this day. Since I got back to my desk, I have recounted the stories to my colleagues over and over, now I want to tell the world.
I beleive his visit, his new identity, his title, his words and who he is would inspire Nigerians especially those on the road to shunning corruption and believing in hardwork.

Hip-Hop Star Nas Revisits His Enslaved Ancestors’ Past

    Nas on finding your roots
For more than two decades, American hip-hop star Nasir “Nas” Jones has captivated audiences with his chilling street tales and dazzling wordplay. The New York rap artist was featured on Public Broadcasting System (PBS) show “Finding Your Roots” on Tuesday, revisiting his enslaved ancestors’ past.

Over the summer, it was announced that Nas would be part of the second season of the popular PBS program hosted by Harvard professor Dr. Henry Louis Gates Jr. The program helps celebrities and public figures reconnect with their past via DNA analysis that creates a genetic road map.
For Nas, Dr. Gates went back five generations in to his family’s history, which began in the Deep South during slavery times. At one point, Gates shows Nas a document of a bill of sale for his third great-grandmother, Pocahontas Little, who was a slave.
In the clip, the rapper can be seen poring over the document, and the look on his face is one of sadness, anger, and deep reflection.
“They paid $830 for my great great great grandma?” exclaims Nas. “I got more than that in my pocket right now.”
Nas has never been the most-animated person in interviews, but it is clearly apparent that seeing this bill of sale shook him to his core. Usually steel-faced, Nas almost appears to be near a breakdown before the conversation shifts.
Watch Nas on PBS’ “Finding Your Roots” in the clip below. In this hour-long show, other guests include stellar actress Angela Bassett and senior presidential adviser to President Barack Obama, Valerie Jarrett.

Birth Name: Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones
Place of Birth: Crown Heights, Brooklyn, New York City, New York, United States
Date of Birth: September 14, 1973
    Ethnicity: African-American
Nas is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer, and actor. He is well known as an influential hip hop artist who, in his debut album Illmatic in 1994, was billed as the second coming of Rakim. Nas is highly rated in underground and mainstream circles, and is known for his lyrical ability and distinctive flow.
Nas is the son of Ann and Olu Dara (born Charles Jones III), who is a cornetist, guitarist, and singer. His father converted to Islam and changed his name to Olu Dara, which in Yoruba means “God is Good”.
Internet assertions that Nas’s father has recent Yoruba or Nigerian ancestry are not correct. Both of Nas’s parents are from African-American families that have lived in the United States for centuries. A DNA test whose results were displayed on the show Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates, Jr. (2014) stated that some of Nas’s ancestors were originally from Nigeria, Benin and Togo, Mali, the Ivory Coast, Ghana, Cameroon, Congo, and Senegal.
Nas’s paternal grandparents were Charles Rufus Jones II (the son of Charles Jones) and Ella Mae Jones.
Nas’s maternal grandparents were Mack Little II (the son of Walter Little and Fannie Little) and Nannie Little (the daughter of Atlas Little and Ada Chambers).

SANTA CLAUS WAS BLACK!-FROM RASTA LIVEWIRE.COM

    from rastalivewire.com

Santa Claus was an European Moor – By Oguejiofo Annu

    Muurish St Nicholas
Santa Claus is a shortened form of San/Saint Nicholas. He is supposed to be this easy-go happy fat Nordic fellow (Pale skin man) from the North pole yelling ho..ho..ho.. and as he merrily brings the cheer of the Christmas season to all and sundry.
Who is the real Saint Nicholas?
Nicholas, was probably born during the third century in the village of Patara, in what is now the southern coast of Turkey. He was born of very wealthy ethnic black Anatolians of the ancient Roman Empire. He was one of those ancient and dominant black Muurs of Europe that you only fleetingly come across in today’s western history, because the Gothic Europeans would hide the true Muurish history in Europe.
    St Nicholas

Nicholas’ wealthy parents, died in an epidemic while Nicholas was still young. Being a devout Christian, he followed the words of Jesus to “sell what you own and give the money to the poor.”
Nicholas used his whole inheritance to assist the needy, the sick, and the suffering. He was made the Bishop of Myra while still a young man.
The high office of Nicholas at such a young age speaks to dominant role played by Muurish black Anatolians and Africans in creating the church as we know it today.
    St Nicholas

It is a historical fact that most of the early and very famous bishops of the church, who lived and gave their lives for the church were either Muurish Africans or Muurish diaspora.

The Icon of Muurish Apostle of Christ St Peter
    Saint Peter
The icon of Peter the first apostle depicted as a Muurish black man in Rome Archbishop John Chrysostom, Pope Leo the Great 400-469 AD, Pope Mithilades, Bishops of Rome, Saint Peter the Bishop of Alexandria 300 – 311 AD and innumerable Saints and Matrys were all Muurish people of African descent.

    John Chrysostom
    John Chrysostom
    Generosity of San Niclaus
Bishop Nicholas was known throughout the land for his generosity to the those in need, his love for children, and his concern for sailors and ships.
Under the Roman Emperor Diocletian, Bishop Nicholas suffered for his faith, was exiled and imprisoned.
After his release, Nicholas attended the Council of Nicaea in AD 325, where he worked with other early fathers of the church to establish the standardized christian doctrine of today.
The passing of the real Santa Claus
He died December 6, AD 343 in Myra and was buried in his cathedral church, where a unique relic, called manna, formed in his grave.
In the picture here that follows, one sees the funeral of St Nicholas.

    Funeral of Saint Nicholas
The discovery of this liquid substance, which was said to have healing powers, fostered the growth of devotion to Nicholas. The anniversary of his death became a day of celebration, St. Nicholas Day, December 6th (December 19 on the Julian Calendar).
The fake snow-flakes they call Santa Claus
Today, the western pagans descendants of Gothic and Slavic conquerors of Rome and Christianity have built up an idolatorous image of Odin, the god of the Goths and the Norsemen, and have passed it off as the real Saint Nicholas.
    The real St Nicholas

Modern joke of a Saint Nicholas or Santa Claus:

This image of the Gothic idol Odin, is what is passed off around the world as Santa Claus. But for those who have ears and eyes, Odin the pagan god of the Goths, had nothing to do with and nothing in common with the pious and devouted life of Saint Nicholas, the young, Muurish Bishop of Myra, one of the early fathers of the church.
